Gallery Teaching Project - Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian
GOAL: Create a gallery teaching project in collaboration with four other classmates
MUSEUM: Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian
PROCESS: Participants were split into two groups and learned about two American Indian cultures: One that had assimilated to Western religious influences and one that resisted assimilation and stayed true to traditional religion. The two groups rejoined, shared lessons learned, and discussed the intersection of religion from American Indian and Western perspectives.
